David Wiggins, owner of David Wiggins Classic Mechanical, has been a qualified mechanic in the Illawarra for over 30 years and has always had a flare for the restoration & preservation of classic vehicles. This passion for these classic cars has steered David's career as an automotive mechanic to specialise in the mechanical restoration, preservation and maintenance of these special classic vehicles.

"David Wiggins has restored two cars for me over the last few years, a 1964 EH Holden Special 179 Automatic which had been submerged in flood waters for 3 days and a 1957 Cadillac Coupe De Ville imported from USA, severely burnt while being unloaded from container. Both these cars have been totally restored to original with David chasing original parts both locally and overseas, these cars are a credit to David and his passion for classic cars. Both cars were driven, one to Cairns and the other to Sunshine Coast Queensland without missing a beat and are now on full registration for special occasions.
